This week, thirty (30) officers from the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Royal Bahamas Defence Force and the Immigration Department participated in the 'Disaster Victim Identification Course' at the Police College.

The course was delivered by the United Kingdom's National Disaster Victim Identification Unit. The role of UK DVIU is to coordinate the national capability of the police services to respond to mass fatality incidents like hurricanes.

The British High Commissioner to The Bahamas H.E. Sarah Dickson visited the students this morning who were completing a practical exercise with the use of live subjects in the Control Tactics Room.
